Reticular Activating System for Manifestation

Your reticular activating system part of the brain can improve your manifestation and visualization power with mantra and exercises. Before deep-diving into the roles of RAS in manifestation of your dreams, let’s first understand Reticular Activating System in brief.

What is Reticular Activating System?

The reticular activating system, or RAS, is the filtering station of the brain and the key part of consciousness. It is a part of the brain that begins near the top of the spinal column and extends around two inches upwards. Scientists observed that the ascending reticular activating system (ARAS) is one of the primary neural structures in the brain for human consciousness [1] [2].

The main function of the RAS is to filter the huge amounts of the sensory information that you receive through the sensory organs eyes, ears, tongue, body and the skin. The RAS pursues data that validates your beliefs. RAS connects the conscious mind with the subconscious mind.

RAS is also responsible for maintaining the wakefulness and sleep-wake cycles of the body. The RAS acts as this gatekeeper so that you can focus your attention on specific things, and remember.

Functions of the Reticular Activating System

The activities of RAS influence the cognition ability of the brain. Human brain process about 11 million bits of information per second out of which the RAS part of the brain filters about 8 million bits of information per second. In other words, it removes the white noises from the sensory signals. When a message gets past the RAS filter it enters the cerebrum and is then converted into conscious thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

There are two pumps in our spine. One is at the bottom of the spine, the sacral pump and another one is at the top of the spine, the cranial pump. The cranial pump keeps the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid around the spinal cord and brain in a ever constant and rhythmic fashion.

RAS helps to release of dopamine is what makes success and go-good feelings. RAS works in synchrony with the cranial pump to release dopamine and other feel-good neurotransmitters and hormones. Serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins are know as feel good neurotransmitters in the brain. They promote positive feelings like pleasure, happiness and joy. They are very important generating positive vibrations.

The reticular formation is a set of interconnected nuclei that are located throughout the brainstem. The reticular formation is responsible for your  consciousness, cardiovascular function, pain perception, sleep cycle, and habituation. RAS exercises help to reprogram and purify your subconscious mind.

Moreover, it is driven by the input from the Reticular Activating System. This formation receives input from the spinal cord, sensory pathways, thalamus, and cortex and has efferent connections throughout the nervous system.

Neurons of the reticular formation, particularly those of the ascending reticular activating system, play a crucial role in maintaining human behaviors, emotion filtering, and consciousness.

Key Obstacles for Manifestation

The main obstacles of manifestations and visualizations are lack of relaxation, focus, concentration, and clarity of mind. Most people can’t get relaxation, clear vision or remain focused long enough to get what they want.  They wasting away their manifestation power by keep changing their minds or getting distracted, and losing concentration.

The key rule of manifestation is you must focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. Focusing on what you don’t want sends your energy in the erroneous direction. Focus on creating new things and exploring new possibilities with consistency. Manifestation works when you focus on creating new results, not  just eliminating undesirable outcomes. Here, processing and reprogramming the RAS can keep you on the track.

There are various beeja mantras which can help you to overcome the obstacles and to replace limiting or self-destructive (“negative”) thoughts with more empowered, adaptive (“positive”) thoughts.

Reticular Activating System and Manifestation

RAS plays a critical role in manifestation. There are 114 chakras in the human body. The RAS is associated with a group of manifestation chakra network in the body. Purification and reprograming the RAS is fundamental for effective manifestation and visualization.

Moreover, the Reticular Activating System can be either your friend or your foe as a coach.  With its help, you are awake, alert and engaged. If it works against you, you will be sluggish, sleepy and dull and your visualization may backfire. To stop the backfiring of your visualization you need certain beeja mantra protection

Manifestation Mindset and Law of Attraction

For effective manifestation, proper mindset is very important. You need to cultivate a gratitude mindset. Gratitude and kindness can help you shift your mind-set from “lack” to “abundance.” Clearly identify your goals that you want to manifest. Don’t be afraid to receive your goals and acknowledge with gratitude the signs from the universe.

Realize that anything is possible, and you are capable of manifest anything for your benefits and the benefits of the humanity. Bring balance between your external work and the inner work. The law of attraction says: like attracts like, which means if you put out positive thoughts, you receive positive results. You should follow the basic manifestation rules to get the desired results.

The 7 basic manifestation rules includes:

  1. Focus on your goals that you want, not on what you don’t want
  2. Don’t get attached to the end results
  3. Change your belief system — believe you deserve it
  4. Stop complaining take responsibility
  5. Keep your inner world calm, peaceful and connected
  6. Find ways to elevate your mood daily
  7. Maintain balance between actions and visualizations

RAS and the Manifestation Chakras

The Jiva Chakra, Rohini Chakra, Bindu Chakra, Revati Chakra, Indu Chakra, Manas Chakra, and the Third-Eye Chakra are the deeply linked with manifestation, focus, concentration and leadership. These chakras are different from the traditional 7 chakras.  However, the Jiva Chakra in the RAS area of the brain is most famous for manifestation. RAS selects the information that is the most important for our conscious mind to pay attention to.

Chakras and the Subconscious Mind

“Rohini Chakra, Bindu Chakra, Revati Chakra, Indu Chakra, and Manas Chakra are the key subconscious mind awakening chakras.” – Sri Amit Ray

You can access and influence the powerful subconscious part of your mind. It is normally inaccessible to your waking minds by learning to use a conscious theta brain wave pattern with Ray 114 chakra meditations or 72000 Ndais meditations, or Om mantra meditation you can do that. The awakening subconscious mind is capable of deep and profound learning, healing, and growth while in a theta awaken state. Maintaining optimal theta/beta brainwave ratios are vital for reprograming the subconscious mind.

If you don’t cultivate reprograming your subconscious mind, it will follow its old path repeatedly. But if you awaken your subconscious mind with Ray 114 chakra meditation techniques, it will give meaning, relevance, and true purpose in your life.

If you focus on the positives rather than the negatives, you will unquestionably begin to recognize more of the wonderful characteristics that are possessed by the other person. Your mind will actively look for the positive and wonderful things that the other person is doing or saying.

Put yourself to the test by coming up with something unique on a daily basis. Put in writing something that stands out to you as a positive quality about the other person.
